2 days in a row!!!!

Sometimes I surprise myself.  Posting 2 days in a row!  I’m feeling like a sponge in soaking up so many good ideas from reading other blogs.  I love the low tech idea of using toothpicks or small broken pieces to represent the tangent line of a curve!   And the color coding idea for increasing and decreasing regions …. may extend that idea to Pre-Calculus. http://squarerootofnegativeoneteachmath.blogspot.com/2014/01/sketching-f-from-f.html  Started to actually write down my back to school shopping list.  Also need to get creative as I try to add some activities using cards.  Better add some plastic bags to the list and curious to check out prices of foam or wooden blocks:  http://squarerootofnegativeoneteachmath.blogspot.com/2014/04/creative-inspiration.html

I got a sneak peak to the class lists today.  Very different schedule with my lower level classes in the morning.  I had gotten used to waking up with calculus these last several years!  Yet the new schedule may help with the focus of the younger students in the morning
